Papageorgiou received the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece, in 2009.
