Acceleration of formaldehyde reactions with proteins due to ultrasound
C.G. Stephanis, J.G. Hatiris, D.E. Mourmouras Department of Physics - National Technical University of Athens Zografou campus GR 15780 GreeceAbstract
We have found that the reactions between caseine and formaldehyde or Urotropin accelerate vigorously under the influence of ultrasound. We also present a probable interpretation of the mechanism causing the acceleration of said reactions.
Key words: ultrasound, formaldehyde, Urotropin, protein's condensation.
