Egnatia Odos S.A. (1996 – 2006)

General Manager. EOSA is the Public Company in charge of the Design, Construction, Maintenance, Operation and Exploitation of the new Egnatia Motorway, a Trans-European Network priority project, together with its main connectors to the other Balkan States. The total length of the motorway and its connectors amounts to 1000 km with a budget of 6.7 billion Euros. The personnel were around 500, including Project and Construction Managers staff under contract. The Company was created in 1996 and works started in 1997. In 2006 4.9 billion Euros were already paid, 550 km of motorway were completed and opened to traffic, 250 km were under construction and 100 km under tendering.
