More specifically we would be interested in the following actions: Student Mobility (OMS) (***ONLY*** for supervision of student diploma / MSc thesis and for a maximum duration of three (3) months) and Teaching Staff Mobility (TS) of short duration (1 week).

bullet

We need to exchange signed agreements (that the proposed co-operation will be included in the SOCRATES Institutional Contract). So, please read on and respond if interested !

Who is eligible?

bulletHigher education Institutions from  the 15 Member States of the European Union; the three EEA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and twelve associated countries: Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Malta and Cyprus.
bulletThe Institution should have (or should be eligible to sign) a Socrates Institutional Contract. European Projects or International Affairs or European Union Offices of your Institution should be able to provide more details. In case of doubt, please send an e-mail to eac-info@cec.eu.int

Project Proposal

bulletTo exchange students working on their Diploma / MSc Thesis for a period of 3 months. The student will work on this thesis under joint supervision on a subject of mutual interest. Note that undergraduate students in Athens work normally for a period of no less than 6 months on their Diploma Thesis. The undergraduate studies last for 5 years (10 semesters) and the Diploma in Engineering  awarded is equivalent to the Master of Science Degree.
bulletTo exchange members of staff in order to give lectures on a subject offered by the host Institution (TS) (note: seminars and open/invited lectures are NOT eligible).
bulletThe Erasmus Subject Code is 06.4 (the European Union Office of the National Technical University of Athens told me that this Subject Code is a formality that has no effect on the substance of the intended cooperation)

What is needed?

bulletFirst download the application form completed with our details and a draft of our intended cooperation. (To download it on your hard disk right click on the link above and choose Save Destination)
bulletFill in the blanks / dots on this application form.
