Ellie is a researcher in the 3D Optical Metrology Unit (3DOM) of Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) and a PhD Candidate in NTUA, Photogrammetry and Computer Vision Lab. She holds a MEng. in Surveying from NTUA and a MSc. in Geodesy and Geoinformation Science from Technische Universität Berlin (TU). During 2014-2016 she was a Marie Curie Fellow under the EU FP7 project ITN-DCH: Initial Training Network for Digital Cultural Heritage in the Photogrammetry and Computer Vision Lab (NTUA). She also participated in the research project "Rehabilitation of the Holy Aedicule of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem" as a photogrammetry and laser scanning specialist. In 2017-2018 she was a senior fellow of the Visual Geometry and Modelling Lab (VGM) of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), working on industrial SLAM applications. In October 2018 she joined 3DOM as researcher in photogrammetry and computer vision. Her current research interests are multiview stereo reconstruction and semantic segmentation.
