Subscribe and keep... updated!
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it
is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently
updated works, such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and
video, in a standardized format. Simple RSS is a program that
helps you read, search and manage your favorite RSS feeds. It will automatically update your feeds after a predefined time
period. You can add your own feeds or select them from the
import list.
Notes
You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer installed in
your system, because Simple RSS uses it to show the feeds. In
most cases Internet Explorer is pre-installed in Windows and you
don't need to worry about it.The graphical user interface
(GUI) of Simple RSS is
straight forward and very easy to use. Adding a new RSS feed is pretty
simple. Just click on the
button at your web browser and copy the link from the
address bar. Then paste it at the address of the "Add RSS"
window of the program.
Currently there is no support for
Atom feeds, but this will change in the future. With this version
you can not create your own custom feeds.
