Project Manager and Research/Scientific Officer for various research programs within the Department of Economic and Regional Development at Panteion University of Athens.
- 1999-2000 - Served as a scientific officer responsible for cooperation in the PAVET and PENED programs under the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Growth. My role was focused on the sectors of industrial development and computer technology, specifically within the ECMIS framework.
- 1998 - Oversaw the planning, analysis, and establishment of modern CAD/CAM laboratories and geographic information systems at GROUND, utilizing Arc-Info, Arc-View, and Esri software.
- 1998 - Led the design, development, and deployment of a network system consisting of Windows 98, NT workstations, NT servers, and Unix System B and Linux operating systems. This network was implemented using Ethernet, UTP, and BNC cabling along with hubs, switches, and wireless connections to facilitate both local and wide area communication.
- 1998 - Participated as a scientific officer in the 4th and 5th Framework Programs of the European Community's Community Support Framework (CSF), engaging in four concurrent action-programs focused on information technology (IST, ACT, TSER, LIFE) and two programs under the General Secretariat of Research and Technology (EPET, PABET). These initiatives addressed key areas including the economy, regional development, research, and technology.
