C. RESEARCH WORK

 

Optimum design of machines and structures. Research and development in compuatational methods (Computer Aided Engineering: CAE), such as finite elements, boundary elements and finite volumes, for general modelling (elastostatics, thermal problems, dynamics, acoustics, biomechanics, textiles), as well as Computer Aided Design (CAD).

 

D. CONSULTANCY

 

·         Two-year experience in projects related to the design of large hospitals (e.g. 1600 beds): medical gas transmission, hydraulics, central heating, air-conditioning, e.t.c..

·         Consultancy through the program ‘MENTOR’ for the re-organization of three large companies producing PCs, sausages and agricultural machines.
