Optimum design of machines and
structures.
Research and development in compuatational methods
(Computer Aided Engineering: CAE), such as finite elements, boundary elements
and finite volumes, for general modelling (elastostatics,
thermal problems, dynamics, acoustics, biomechanics, textiles), inverse
problems, as well as Computer Aided Design (CAD).

Two-year experience in
projects related to the design of large hospitals (e.g. 1600 beds): medical gas
transmission, hydraulics, central heating, air-conditioning, e.t.c..

Consultancy through the
program MENTOR for the re-organization of three
