After completing his doctoral thesis in February 2011, Thanasis Papageorgiou developed a wide range of activities as a free lancer in the field of structural consulting. He participated in research projects and carried out a large
number of design studies of steel, reinforced concrete and masonry structures. He founded the company STRUSUS Engineers and Consultants (strusus.eu), a privately held company
through which he continues his research and design activity in cooperation with design studios and construction companies in Greece and abroad.
